Backing tracks for one man band??

    Hi all,

    I'm wondering where/with what do I make the backing tracks for songs like under the Bridge, Black is the Colour, Redemption Song etc as well as straight forward Irish Ballads like Wild Rover etc??

    Can they be bought or how does your typical one man band set this up??

    Either midi files (awful) , Or make thm yourself with some recording software (bit better).

    You can pay for them from certain websites but it can be dear.

    These guys cost a bit but their stuff is very good

    Check out FL Studio. €50 for the basic package, you can find samples and sequence them all together, and with a bit of practise and lateral thinking, you can avoid the awful-and-really-obvious MIDI sound.

    Get a loop station. Hours of fun, it's handy too. You create your own backing tracks on the fly and loop them back.

    If ya can get your hands on a copy of cakewalk pro audio get it i have been using it for years.
