    Hi
Sorry - didnt know where to post this so I hope this is the right spot.

I had a smear few months ago and can back abnormal. I got sent to the colposcopy clinic 6 weeks ago. They did colposcopy, smear and biopsy. They said results would be in 6 weeks which is today. I rang them and they said only smear results were in and that biopsy would take longer. I asked how much longer but she didnt know. Im scheduled for appointment again on 22nd september so she said I just have to wait till then.

I find this very nerve wrecking. Me and my partner are desperate to start trying for a baby but when all this started I wasnt sure if it was safe or not. Can you please advise? Is it safe to try for a baby? How long should I be waiting for biopsy results?

You should ask your doctor about trying for a baby.

He or she will also be able to advise you as to how long you have to wait for the results of your biopsy. I hope it all turns out normal for you :)

    Ta,

    Xiney.

    Ask your gp/consultant.
