I have been self employed for about 8 years and in the recent past things have gone from bad to worse. I am in considerable debt including to Revenue. Revenue may take me to court and force me to sell what little I have to pay debt. This would then leave me unable to work. I never imagined things getting this bad but…

I have been self employed for about 8 years and in the recent past things have gone from bad to worse. I am in considerable debt including to Revenue. Revenue may take me to court and force me to sell what little I have to pay debt. This would then leave me unable to work.

I never imagined things getting this bad but wondered are there any schemes available to help my family survive. I ahve 2 kids (11 and 15) and a wife who currently does not work.

My wife was planning to open anbusiness, which we are confident would succeed. However, we would ned money to get it going.

Advice & comments appreciated.
