I am thinking of installing a solar system to heat my domestic hot water. The manufacturers give various temperatures that can be obtained depending on the time of year, time of day, no of panels etc. To enable me to assess these
    - could anyone let me know what temperature domestic hot water is normally delivered by an electric immersion or oil fuelled central heating system?
    - what temperature needs to be reached (and how often, per day, per week) to prevent legionaires disease?
