Has anybody ever tried or recommend any products for male facial hair removal (other than shaving of course)? I'm not to keen on waxing either.

My problem is that my moustache is fair more developed that the rest of my face and people keep asking me if I am growing a moustache which annoys me, because I'm not and have never tried and don't want to.

    What's wrong with shaving?

Have you considered laser hair removal? This is a pretty permanent procedure though so not something to rush into.

The only long term treatment is laser, painful and expensive.

Well I have shaved since I first started growing facial hair but I always have the shadow even just after shaving. It's really annoying. I wouldn't mind it so much if it were all of my face but it's just the moustache area. I don't think I would consider laser really. I would be happy enough just to get rid of the shadow. Even if I had to apply a hair removal cream every couple of weeks I wouldn't mind.

It may be age related, if you are pretty younf then the moustache area develops first.

Same with myself. My mustache has been growing since I was about 12/13 and I'm now almost 21. I still can't grown a full beard yet my 'tash looks unshaven shortly after shaving. It's generally just darker or thicker hair around that area. Nothing to be worried about. I actually find a good electric razor does a better job getting a closer shave there. A blade for the rest of my face.
