I am looking for a DVD version/download of this miniseries from 1984. I remember it had a profound effect on me as a young lad. I can only find VHS copies for sale, and quite expensive they are too. Would a VHS to DVD transfer be poor quality? Thanks

It depends on the condition of the tape. I have a copy of this on DVD and it's not too bad, I made a custom DVD from an old VHS which I ripped.
