Aye, thanks are due to the OP for bringing a bargain to my attention that I would have otherwise missed... Cheers!
Got it for the listed price myself (Might be worth getting it delivered for free to the UK if you have any relatives there)

Crap... I put it in my basket too and never ordered. Did not think it was gonna go up so quick! I was on there late last night but guess it was before 12:00...

The T&C's for pre order say that you will get it at the lowest pre order price so if you order it now at the £37 and it reduces again in the meantime then looks like you will get that price:

"Amazon.co.uk's price for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and dispatched. Whenever you pre-order a book, CD, video, DVD, software, or video game, the price you pay will be the lowest price offered by Amazon.co.uk between the time you placed your order and up to and including the release date. A pre-order price guarantee message will appear on your Order Summary during the checkout process. If you use 1-Click ordering, pre-order price guarantee protection will be automatically applied. The order summary in Your Account will reflect the lowest price within 24 hours of the price change"

    +1

Doubt I'll bother with it at all at full price now... Already have Prologue, and I'm more interested in seeing what Forza 3 brings to the table

I'm a fan of both franchises but whenever I play Forza I kind of feel I'm playing a low-end version of GT. Even Forza2 feels like a bad version of GT4, while GT5 Prologue is the big daddy (without the content).

At least Forza has a release date though.

I'm sure they have themselves covered in the terms and conditions customers agree to prior to placing an order, tbh.

This and call of duty are probably the two games coming out for the PS3 that i would be happy to spend the full RRP on,

Thats not to say i wont search for the cheapest though!!!

The most fantastically poor attempt at corperate coercion I've ever seen.

    Seriously, thank you.

im sure they do, but my point is if u bitch and moan enough about consumer rights and all that they will have to honour their price. it all depends on how easy they fold... im sure they will baffle you with terms and conditions until your blue in the face if u even mention it... just that if u were completly committed im sure u could get it for the correct price... might require several email, phonecalls, etc...
