Applying for jobs to support JSB/JSA application

This is somewhere inbetween a rant and a request for advice lol. Ahead of my interview on Wednesday for JSB/JSA, I have been trawling websites for job positions (obviously I have been looking before this but now its a concentrated effort). There are no jobs out there, or at least none that match my skills. All there are is fake recruitment company jobs and jobs in areas like languages or finance which I unfortunately do not possess a bacjground in. I have seven applications I have applied for printed out since mid June where the employers either sent a personal or automated response which I had saved and printed along with the job description (these are for areas alien to me but I want to work if possible e.g. receptionist, work in hotels, mystery shoppers etc). I have also been trawling city cold calling with my CV so to speak though obviously I don't have any "proof" of this (though I've written it on the JSB/JSA form) except for a coverletter. Will this be enough to satisfy my interviewer do you think? My main employement would either have come from the HSE (fresh out of college to discover a jobs freeze) or possibly NGOs (who don't seem to hire anyone with less than x number of years experience). I will explain this and hope for the best. Any advice folks or am I needlessly worrying - I hope I am, surely it must be a common situation now anyway?:o:confused:

print out the emails you send
print out any responses if you get one

give company names, address's and phone numbers

there's only so much one can do.
