    Went to see Imelda May here last night. Travelled from Dublin and was so excited after seeing her in Vicar St a few weeks ago.

    She was great last night but just couldn't get into the gig at all cos of the sound in venue.

    Well the set up of the gig was terrible. Its a long function room with a low ceiling and the sound in the room was terrible. Unless you were standing at the stage you couldn't see the band at all as the stage was so small. I was really disappointed:(

    Interested to hear of anyone at gig with opinions?

    Wasn't at the gig, but ive worked in that room before and I can only imagine how bad it sounded.

    The gig was moved indoors due to the bad weather on friday night.
    I agree the sound was bad from where i was standing.
