Ok, I have a little problem with Sony.

I only have an Entropay account for buying things online and Sony won't allow people use it now.
I am trying to get the COD:WAW Map packs but I can't because Sony are idiots!!

Anyone agree? Or anyone know how I can get around this problem legit?

Get yourself a credit card or switch to Halifax banking and use their Visa direct debit card which has VISA credit card facility also.

Sony aren't the problem here. Their system like most online systems, only take credit cards. You don't have one. Sony aren't going to cater to you via third-parties. It's a bad place to go with transactions like this.

Get a credit card. Problem solved. If you're too young to get one use someone you know who has one, and give them the cash.

But the main problem I have is that there are people using virtual visa cards on PSN but a few months ago they decided to not allow new accounts/new cards on accounts use virtual ones.

Alot of people I know in the current climate are getting rid of their credit cards. I prefer entropay because I have to have the cash before I buy anything so I can't get into debt. :D

It's time europe comes with a general payment system and not 25 different ones. It's just no fun for multinationals to try and set-up easy payment methods for the EU when there are 25 different methods and rules and regulations and all that crap.

P.s, I have an american PS3 and american credit cards, so i'm good.

I always thought CCs had an international element to them to begin with.

Not entirely sure what you mean in this situation DePurpereWolf.

I love having a CC, completely opens up a whole new world for me in terms of what I can buy and for how much the 30e tax is worth it.

You're right with everything you say here. Since getting a CC it's opened up so much, especially ebay! I've saved buckets there compared to retail costs.

Though DePurpereWolf is probably referring to the situation where you can get 3v here, but not in central Europe, etc.

Entropay works for me on my US account.

Cheaper then buying US PSN cards.

Your solution here is pre-pay mastercards (now sony have fixed the problem) you can pick them up in most centra/spar type places. Or go to www.payzonemoney.ie and get 1 sent to your house. Works for paypal, itunes, psn. Ive actually not found anything it doesn't work for (apart from the annoying psn glitch that happened).

I like my CC too, but it's not a perfect system.
The credit card is just a middle man, In all Euro countries, they have still all different banking systems, which is just silly.
So whenever you want to pay Sony, it has to go via the banking system of Ireland to the banking system of wherever Sony Europe is, France or something. Your CC man does this for you, but at a cost.
It's actually a duopoly held by the Americans, it is not cheap, and not very safe.
I have a CC from the Netherlands, but I can't buy at some internetshops because it doesn't give me the option to have my billing address in a different country.
The EU is investigating a better system of inter-country payment. Paypal has for instance said it would like to see the credit card sytem win, but there are other newer and better systems.

Once a new system is in place, it would be easier for Sony to set up payments.
