Classic BMW Coupe

    Hi Folks,

    Have been looking out for an early 70's BMW 3.0 coupe for a while now. Always imagined I would find one in the UK and import it. Saw this one on carzone today and it looks in good shape. Any opinions or advice on buying and/or owning this machine appreciated. Thanks.

    I'm no expert on BMW but I would say have a look at this one before deciding:

    I have some experience of the BMW E9 and the biggest problem is rust. Especially have a good look under the front wings towards the firewall. Also, make sure the brightwork is good condition because it is very expensive to replace/restore.
