    Good day for me is:

pancakes with butter and homemade jam for breakfast (see the fitness recipes thread for the pancakes, in short they currently consist of: oats, whey, cottage cheese, sunflower oil, edit: egg, psyllium husks and water).
    fruit and nuts for snack
salad for lunch (usually chicken, coleslaw, lots of veg and maybe an egg)
cottage cheese on ryvita or a tin of tuna + fruit for snack
meat and veg for dinner (no starchy carbs)

There will usually be a protein shake or sometimes two in there too.

Raggs wings - very low carb maybe 1 or 2 grams

    Marinade

    Red wine vinegar
    Olive oil
    Chilli
    Garlic salt
    Tobasco
    Cajun
    Smoked paprica
    Squeeze of lime

Cut wings along the join and trim of the long fatty bit at the end.
Marinade in fridge for 1 hour.

Bake in oven for 20 minutes grill 200 degrees.
    Baste and grill for 5.

cover in as much hot sauce (encona - the red bottle, is what I use) as you like.

These taste like a real treat, but they aren't that bad for you at all :D

A good day for me is a weekday.

8am Breakfast: Weetabix * 2 with milk and fruit.

11am Snack: Granola Bar or the remainder of the fruit from above.

12.30 Lunch: Stir Fry (fresh veg, fresh chicken, small portion of noodles or pasta)..my work canteen is good for this one dish, the rest of the options (burgers, chips, carvery) wouldn be to my new tastes.

3 pm Snack: Dark Ryvita with Laughing Cow

10 pm Post Workout: 100% Gold Standard Whey with Milk

I know the gap is bad but work is nuts between 3 and 6 so i cant eat then.

A bad day is any day i eat crisps which hasnt happened lately. I do still have a few bottles of beer on the weekends but i have been really trying to control the snacking.

I struggle to eat enough food during the day, but I'm young enough so not really taking it too serious. I eat healthy though, although went back on the fizzy drinks after 2 years without touching even a drip of coke bar christmas day and st.stephens day)

9.00: Cereal normally one of these 3:
Porridge with teaspoon of honey with skimmed milk / 3 X Weetabix with skimmed milk / Bran Flakes with handful of raisins and skimmed milk
    Vits + Supps

    11.00: Apple + Banana

13.00: Chicket fillets in wholemeal pita/bread

I call it a good day if its macros read 40%/30%/30% for protein/carbs/fats. and it doesn't matter where it comes from. I noticed that 'eating clean' doesn't do much for me unless I get my macros right.

    Damn!!
I'm the opposite. My macro ratio does not effect my body as much as the types of food i put into it. Maybe that is cos there is a history of food interferences and IBS within the family.

It's weird isn't it, the fruit and veg section in supermarkets makes me happier than the many junk food sections. Just been to M&S and stocked up on some yummy fresh fruit and veg and wish I could eat it all now. :(

    As a long distance runner who commutes to and from work on a MTB(as well as 3 - 4 gym sessions a week) I burn lots and lots of calories and struggle to eat enough to replace them. A good day for me;

    Brekkie:
3 egg omlette(one whole egg + two egg whites) with mushrooms, tomatoes, somtimes bacon and sometimes spinach and a nice cuppa tay

Fruit and/or a nut bar about 3 hours later

about an hour later if I'm hungry, two slices of wholemeal bread either just with butter or a banana smudged all over it :D

Two hours later it's lunchtime so it's usually two smallish wholemeal baps stuffed with lettuce and tomato and home cooked turkey, chicken or ham and a couple of pieces of fruit, maybe a multivit drink or a orange juice

Two/three hours later if I can eat it'd just be fruit

Get home from work 5:15ish and would usually have maybe half a sandwich or a couple of ryvita's or something before I go for my run/the gym

Depending on the run/gym session I'd have a shake afterwards and then something to eat for 'dinner' if I can eat.

A couple of weeks ago I started trying to eat more, after day one of eating more I thought I was going to explode by lunch time and I'd probably only had about 1000/1250 calories by then. It's only when I started logging what I was eating I saw how little I actually ate.
