When I went to the open day last year I remember one of the students doing the tours there telling me that students can apply for jobs on campus......she mentioned the library and some shop or cafe I cant remember. How does one go about applying for them? what do they pay and what are the available jobs?

    thanks!:)

The bookshop was looking for people last year, I'm guessing they look for applicants each year as people leave college. There'll be application forms in the bookshop around the start of the year. I applied last year but didn't get the second (6 person) interview :(

Theres the JCR in goldsmith, the SU shops, the bookstore, IS Services and im sure a few others.
I know the JCR used to pay 10 per hour.. not sure if that has canged at all. Pretty sure you just apply at the start of college, except for ISS. Think the ISS closing date was last monday. Its not on the website anymore..

The library are looking for new student shelvers I think - they work mornings (7-9 or 8-10), and are paid around €10 an hour.

Wasted a full day last week with that Bradford Networks yokie. (And I study CompSci. Can't imagine what the B€$$ birds are like). It's security overkill. That's the reason ISS are so understaffed.

Ugh, I apparently have to install a virus scanner on my Mac if I want to get it on the network. What a pain in the arse.
