Okay, it's a completely misleading title and it is yet another 'Make my decision for me thread'.

Anyway, only saw this ad when I read this post
Unfortunately, I was pipped, yes pipped to the post.

So if anyone has a similar bike they're looking to offload, or can think of a similarly priced, similar spec new bike, I'd love (yes love) to hear about it.

I checked Adverts and didn't see anything. Will post in Cycling Ads now.

    DFD.

Hey I'm selling my Cross Check frame with fork and headset for e150. It would make a good single speed and is a better frame than the Tricross in any case ;)

DFD, depends on how much of a rush you're in.

I'm not routinely riding (rocking? rubbing?) my Tricross Single at the moment, but I ought to hang onto it until I get another metal-framed bike - I need something for occasionally hauling the kids around on.

There's a whole tedious chain of investigation and decision making which I won't bore you with....

    Penexpers,
I think I saw the advert. Lovely frame. Unfortunately, with my level of competence, that's all it would every be.....a lovely frame. I think I need a whole bike ;)

I'm in no real hurry. It was going to be a bit of an impulse buy, if you know what I mean. If you do decide to let the Singlecross go, I'm the guy to take it.

Does it have to be single speed. I have a geared tricross that I am getting a bit bored with. Was thinking of getting a single speed, but nothing definitive yet.

Having a singlespeed is attractive, but not everything. I've PM'd you.

Sorry about the timing DFD,pipped at the post. :o
At that price no one was going to turn it down.

    From this thread:
    Hi there!
I think you would be in the cw or db class. Ask Joey and Baby for clarification. Hope this helps.

The 2010 Langster is steel? It does look nice though - also less obviously an off-the-peg fixie :)

@Tiny - how about I buy you that langster, and you swap me your Mercian for it. I can then sell my Tricross.
