    Hey,

Just wondering about this? Got a new job and pay is poor enough. But told me the pay rises after 6 months and another 6 months then based on performance. The problem is in the contract it says pay will be reviewed after a year, and every year then etc. Was just wondering am I open to get passed over for the first pay jump (i.e. in six months time) if I sign the contract because that is what it says?

    Thanks

yes. if you sign the contract the company can pass you over for pay review at 6 months.

I would imagine you would have to complete a 6 months probationary period in the first instance.
