nice one,,,, i,ve been waiting for this to happen myself, a fox had been draging the larsen around the field and some how eating my call/caught birds out tru the mesh, never got him.

I had a similar catch five years ago,got a call at work from the neighbour to say there was a fox in the cage, when I got home and got the rifle and niece with the video camera, I headed for the field, fox had eaten his way through the 1/2" 1mm wire mesh at this stage, neighbour told me he was there 20 mins earlier, his daughters were using flash camera on him.I gave the photos to the secretary of the NARGC at the time,he was to put them on the site.

    @ Tackleberry

I think your mesh is too big/light if a fox can pull your call bird through it,I found the 1" chicken wire too light,a grey crow was able to bounce his way through the top of the catching compartment. You'd be better off using the roll of weldmesh wire.

Make your own larsen from 3mm galvanised 2"x2" weldmesh sheets. Join it all up with cable ties. Nothing's going to get bother it much.

Look a little closer lads...there are 2 foxes there. We have caught singles in the past but never a pair.
