Remington 700 short action 22-250/.243/.308 etc.

    As per title, I'm on the lookout for any Remington 700 short actioned .308 based rifle. I only want the action/bolt/mag so ideally a shot-out 22-250 going cheap etc. would be great.

    Condition is not a huge concern - the action will be blueprinted & bolt modifed/reworked anyway. Obviously, scrap won't be suitable though :D.

    So, if anyone knows where there's something suitable, LMK. I'll be needing this in the next few weeks & have a firearms dealer ready so no delays with licence etc. from my end. Also, if the money's too high I'll just get a new 700SPS & scrap it - might have a barrel & stock for sale then :D.

    Alright - anyone any ideas?

    Surely most dealers will have a fairly F##### Remy 700 VS swift on their books. I would suggest you flick ring around al the dealers.

    I'd sell you mine if it was'nt for the fact that i'm diong the same myself.
