Im gonna have to go for MGS: Portable Ops too. Didn't like it for the first few hours but then it drew me in. Fantastic game imo.

GTA Vice City Stories is nice too

I gotta say Jeanna D'arc. If there was one game who's memory I would love to erase in order to play again, it would be this!!

I'd go with Loco Roco, Syphon Filter or Metal Gear myself... Oh, and Wipeout was excellent too!

I really liked the Ac!d games. Probably in the minority with that one

Tales of Eternia is a nice RPG as well.

Lots of people like Disgaea. I'm not too much into the SRPG genre myself though

Slow paced turn-based games are the only types of games I can play properly on a handheld, which is why I hate the likes of Crisis Core, MGS:PO and the GTA:Stories games
Good games, but they just feel a little unwieldy on a handheld

+1 for GoW, Loco Roco and both Wipeout games

-1 for FF tactics (I didn't give it a proper chance though, so might have to have another bash at it soon)

God of war was great but i finished in about 4 hrs......very disapointing.

Id go with Wipeout Pulse, Syphon filter dark mirror and Loco Roco.

Killzone Liberation. The online play is about the only good shooting game on the PSP - the PSP's control scheme for FPS is just too slow for online. 3PS solves this deliciously.

Initial D : Street Stage is amazing, if you like arcadey-yet-very-hard Japanese anime drifting games.

Also, Syphon Filter : Logan's Shadow, even if solely for the amazing graphics.

Get out of here, it's by far the greatest strategy RPG ever made. If I have one complaint it's that it's incredibly difficult and the difficulty curve is quite high.

Yeah I've never been a fan of FF tactics either. Tried to get into the ps1 version (on psp), then tried to get into the psp version but I just couldn't. The game is simply too slow and there is too much additional unnecessary things to customise. I feel the same way about Disgaea (although I finished the first one).

I much prefer the simplicity of Jeanne D'arc (the best psp game IMO)

I think the best thing about FF Tactics is the customisation. So many options and loads of ways of building stupidly powerful characters.

Could never get into the nippon ichi games though, they just felt a little unstructured.
