Is there really any way to earn online? I have heard of 10001 websites where you click ads. But never had time for that. SO I want to ask: Is it really possible to earn at least 20 $ ?

    Thanks.

Yes. There was a thread about it AAAAGGGEEESSS ago (like, months ago), and someone did lots of research, and found that there was, but just not that much out there.

A serious post, don't know if anybody will read this after the long Nigerian email above, but whatever ;)

First up, 99% of the money is made by the best 1% people who work only online, while 99% of people make just 1% of the total money. Most people lose money or time when they try to work online.
So... strictly online? with no real-world work? Sure... but its tough to get good money.

It depends on your skill set, motivation, creativity, etc. With no skills:
You can start out with some crappy basic article writing / re-writing, forum posting.
Or some of the legit, type-from-home or games testing, answering questions, or doing research online. You can work as a virtual personal assistant or secretary online, Paid forum moderators or forums community managers, perhaps customer support on a busy website.
Typically you will not earn proper money at the above jobs, but they are almost no-skill startup jobs so almost anybody can do it.
Consider living in a poor country, if this is as far as you get.
You won't be able to live comfortably in Ireland on this money, generally speaking.

Working up the scale, there is translation or professional copyrighting, order processing, transcribing, etc. If you have a decent website or series of websites, you could make an ok living from Google Adsense or even just domain parking or link sales, if you do it on a large enough scale.

Theres the skilled professional services, website design, SEO, etc. Flipping sites, freelance programming, software testing, graphic/logo design, flash design, the works, too many to list.

Working up: You can put some good affiliate marketing stuff on a website, if you have great traffic, and visitors who spend money online. Ebay Partner Network, YPN, Amazon Affiliate, ClickBank, CJ, etc, all of the big affiliate programs will give you % on sales through your referral links. You can have a website, making money from PPC, PPV etc.
Of course, you need a great site/blog with many UVs per day to do this from, and a good targeted niche, with corresponding affiliate products for sale.

Or if you get a good dropshipper for some products, you can run an internet store without touching products yourself.

These are all hugely popular methods. You have to work very hard, or put your own twist on things to make these work.

Other things, I won't explain how to monetize in detail(for various reasons), but where much more money is possible: things like facebook apps, autoblog farms, getting & selling leads in bulk, CPA referrals, monetizing databases, advanced forex/spreading, certain aspects of internet marketing and advertising. etc.

Of course you can earn good money online. But realistically you probably won't. Most people lose money, when they try.

My story? After starting working in Internet Marketing, I realised that I was making more money online than I was as a sysadmin. Gave up my 9-5, now I work fulltime (well, 2-4 hours per day) only online, now I am on multiples of what I was on before, and moved to a warmer country. Its possible, but its very hard, and you will need to devote a serious amount of time to get started.

Think of an idea. It should be as automated as possible, i.e. you don't need to sit in front of your computer for hours.

Get someone on scriptlance.com to code it for you, and another person to design the website for you.

Get a domain and a cheap hosting account and put the website online.

Add Google AdSense to the site so you can make money from people clicking on the adverts.

Read up on SEO and marketing (such as press releases) to try to increase your traffic.

And finally, move to a poor country where you can live off your website's income. :)

ok, I was thinking of earning online all day. And I found way to do that.
I know how to work with 3ds max. And there are websites that are selling 3d models that people made. I will be just making models and posting them on website for like 50 cent cost. Maybe I will get some cents.
