Boards Darts League Division 1 Fixtures etc

I am doing this in blocks of four as suggested, Monday and Friday are for reference only that is the way the website works so you have that week to play the two games, so all the following to be played before Sunday 16th Aug, I will do the same for the next block of fixtures.

All 180's, low dart finishes and high checkouts will be added to the site.

Matches best of 14 or first to 8, first player on list has home advantage so throws first for score.

I'd be careful about setting up games on this thread, ie times etc as there is still an imposter going around the dart forums and playing games under other peoples names. Might be an idea to set up a league and password on dartpro and sent it to all players in a pm.

This seems to have come to a standstill. One thing I will say is that having played a game I think the format is too long. My game was 11 legs and I felt that was too much, best of 9 would have been better imo, giving players the possibility of playing a couple of games in one night if they wished to do so, something I would not consider if I had been involved in a 15 leg match which there are bound to be some of this length.

Hi lads things aren't looking too good for me at the moment with work and the young one i don't seem to have the time to play any off the games so in the best interest of the league and to get it going i'll have to pull out sorry for this lads but life is a bitch at the moment

think you might be right, my laptop is going out the window one of these days,

everyone just needs to not panic, check their firewalls for the port number, check their firewalls allow the program, change the router settings to forward the port number (47141 i believe) and then try again

lets not all worry too prematurely

Ok lads I think we have to try and sort something with regards to this tournament. Too many people are dropping out due to Dartpro not working for them or other reasons so it's getting messed up already.

Anybody have any suggestions on what we should do?

Suppose we need to help everybody to get their Dartpro working so anyone who can;t get it working should post in the help with dartpro thread and we can try and sort it.

dartpro was working fine for me a few days ago, so I can play one of my matches tonight. To the two who had to pull out sorry to hear that lads S.T.D Ste is defo gone are you going to try to hang on in Double Top to see if you can get DartPro sorted? dose anyone object to letting the first on standby joining in instead of S.T.D Ste (edit: first on standby is Degag)?

Also with the time of year it is and a lot of people are on holidays etc some players might not find the time to get their matches played, just do your best lads to get at least one of your matches played at least then it will be fully off and running.

I saw on another dart forum where they ran a competition with lads playing a set number of straight legs and pm'ing them to the organiser. Supposedly ye could just post your own 12/16 legs and an independant person could look through and declare a winner.

Pasting from dartpro would be ideal beacuse it records day, time, number of darts, and any 180/big checkouts. It also gives the players the chance to play the game in there own time so to speak.

Only drawback is the lack of pressure on your shots I suppose.
