why does this happen every time i go out

i only turned 18 there a while back and on first night out into a niteclub i drank about 5 pints of beer. nearly bit the dust the next morning but i made sure not to go mad again a night

anyway now, no matter how much i drink i get home around 3:00, go to bed feeling fine, wake up about 3 hours later, get unexpectidly sick (even if theres nothing in me to pass out) fall back to sleep and im perfectly fine the next morning

personally i dont really like drink, but its no fun being sober while everyone around is having a good time

    why dose this always happen?
how can i build myself aginst alcohol, while getting drunkish at the same time

what drinks are you actually drinking? mixing differents usually doesn't work well either. btw, five pints is a lot to some people, if you're of small build..

I drank Budweiser for years cos thats what I was started on and used to get sick the next day, just put it down to the alcohol. One morning got sick and swear to god it looked like green bile came up.. swore never to drink Budweiser again. Anyway switched to Corona or miller and they didn't have anywhere near as bad an effect. Settled on Guinness now for the last couple of years..

Try a different drink and see if it changes anything.

Some people's bodies simply cannot tolerate alcohol.

 ffs its called a hangover - if you didnt wake and get sick at 3am it would be sitting patiently for you until you did wake

5 pints is enough alcohol to give a hardened drinker a slight hangover

Five pints is ten drinks really, I'd hardly call it a small amount of alcohol :(

If, everytime you went out to a specific club, a dog came up and bit you, what would you do? You'd stop going to that club.

If alcohol makes you sick every single time you drink it, stop drinking.

I'd stop going - but only after I sued the owner of the club for letting a dog in

You're answering your own question here, really OP. What do you expect us to say except stop drinking? There's not much else you can do. It just doesn't agree with you.

Don't mix drinks. Choose one beer and stick to it. If you are ok after 1 or 2 bottles just stick to that. Why put your self through it?

No harm to ask a doctor either.

If you are drinking cider and lager in the same night, it is no wonder you are getting sick after five pints. You may also have an intolerance to apples or wheat from which those drinks are derived. try drinking guinness for a change.

what are the chances you have one of those vibrating and/or water beds they have in motels in the US?

    maybe you're just seasick? :pac:

seriously though, you might have a bit of a problem.

if you really want to go out and drink, experiment with WHAT you drink and stick to the same drink all night.

just drink bulmers, or just drink heiniken for the whole night and see what happens, but ffs don't drink bud all night, it's piss. have a bit of class. :p

Bulmers is extremely hard on the stomach, at least for me. I can drink 5 or 6 pints of Bud or Heineken on a night out and only suffer a mild hangover the following day. If I drink Bulmers though, just 2 pints of the stuff and I'll be in tatters well into the next day from it. Whatever it is, Bulmers just doesn't agree with me. Could well be the same for you?

Plus, Bulmers generally doesn't mix well with any other drinks (lager, stout etc.) so by doing so, probably makes it even worse for you!

    Try vodka and lime.

2 or 3 glasses sounds ok for the night. Its a simple drink so not much you can have a reaction to.

How about you drink coke or orange? Tell them you're driving and get it free.

If you want to feel merry before going out then have a glass or two of wine before heading out. The mood of the night will carry you on from there.

If you're getting sick, regardless of what causes it, your body is sending you a very clear message. Listen to it... it knows what it's talking about.
