I know this is a bit petty compared to the high brow topics usually covered here but.............

I have a big meeting coming up and I want to make a good/strong impression.
I have all the banter down but need to know
Does the colour of your Tie make a difference and if so what to wear?

Colour of your tie, no. Dress appropriately. If your a strong outspoken person you can wear a very bold tie, but your not so don't.

Just try to get your point across in the least amount of words in the quickest time, without talking too fast.

Bit presumptuous but thanks for the input.

I've you have to worry about tie colour then it comes across as confident. Sorry mate but i call it as i see it, no offense meant.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... Its going in my Chinese.

Im a company Director and I rarely wear a tie and jacket..my wife reckons it just doesnt suit me!! (excuse the pun :))

OP..Id be careful if you think your choice of tie will command the respect of a room of people you never met. These things have a habit of coming back and biting you in the ass!!
