I was wondering when the best time to shoot pigeons is.Do they have a feeding pattern and where do they prefer to feed. Also has any1 tried the Airpro pigeon decoys. If so what are they like? thanks

donnacha2006 there are numerous posts here outlining pigeon decoying tactics & fieldcraft......just do a search in the SEARCH box.

I have the air-pro crow & pigeon decoys.

Not sure about the pigeon decoy yet as I didn't notice any great difference....but then they were used with all the other decoys so hard to justify if they attract more......had some great days but also had great days when they weren't in the pattern....I should probably use them on their own to really evaluate them.

I found the air-pro crow decoys absolutely brilliant!....work really well with amazing results.

I set two up about 20 metres apart at the edge of the crow decoys pattern. Crow spot them from very far away and turn.........they all come in with no hesitation whatsoever BETWEEN the two air-pro decoys........really channels them in to where you want them to go.........amazing!

This is really a dove but I painted the white flashes on each wing & on side of neck

They also do a magpie & greycrow air-pro decoy ....don't have any of these yet but I'd say they'd be very good.

That was a great price in the UK.

I have them for 3 years when they weren't available in Ireland .....bought them on e-bay from the USA

LR Active used to sell them but I don't see them on his site at the moment....maybe you could give him a ring.....he's in Athlone
