It's been a few months since we had the recessionary beers, so I think it is time for another.

And, as many of you will know, I am leaving the country at the end of August. Going to a land where beer and pork are not as readily available as they are here. :eek:

So, who is up for beer then?

Everybody is welcome, especially newbies, but if this is your first beers, you must bring a can of condensed milk. See here for a detailed explanation why.

Hmmm, we did try the whole "foreign condensed milk" thing last year, but Des had a terrible reaction to it when he rubbed it in. His bald-patch ended up looking like somebody had rubbed a strawberry into it. Not pretty. Then again, neither is Des.

But I digress.

Consideration for the skin condition of Des is not a requirement for the condensed milk, so I think upon reflection, yes, you may bring the foreign stuff.

Karma is too small. We need to go somewhere bigger seeing as a lot of people will be coming. Never in the Bull & Castle before. What's that like?

We had one in the Bull & Castle before and tbh, they treated us like crap. I wouldn't go back there for a beers again.

For some reason I've organised a Ladies Lounge beers for that evening.

I'll wear my cowboy hat on the night and try and herd them down to Karma at some stage.

I think there is something about it in the charter, it is one of those things which doesn't exist in the brothers world
(despite that we managed to have a rousing chorus to someone singing My Way at Karaoke in Dusseldorf)

To be fair, we were shunning the actual karaoke which was on the floor above us. We were just trying to prove that we could do it if we wanted to.

There is nothing strange about the condensed milk. What Brother Des does with it afterwards may be a bit strange, but the milk itself is perfectly normal.
