Hi, My iPhone 1st gen is acting the maggot. I was out the other night when the screen went blank. Naturally I thought the battery died. I plugged it into my windows xp laptop and up it popped in itunes, but still nothing on the screen. On itunes it synced and I left it there for about two hours to charge the battery. I clicked the eject button and disconnected my phone. But when I hit the home button on the phone nothing happens. I can still hear sound from it like if I get a message or a call but I cannot answer as there is nothing on the screen. So then I thought I would restore it and keep an eye on the screen as it did so. I did notice the screen flicker but no graphics came up at all. Anybody ever have this problem? Any helpwould be appreciated James
