Depending on exactly how pale you are I'd even say double wear in shell.
I wear that and it's really a pale colour...not sure which is lighter.

I like MAC's NC15 Studio Tech, Illamasqua's Powder Foundation in PF135 (they go as far as literal white) and Bobbi Brown have some good pale shades- look for Alabaster or Porcelain. Their tinted moisturisers are quite nice too.

Even doublewear in shell is too orange for me! But estee lauder do a concealer called "disappear" which comes in a colour called "barely mauve," which actually comes out pure white, so you can mix it with another concealer or foundation to get the desired shade. I find it also gives really good coverage (and I have acne and acne scars, it does a good job of covering them without looking heavy.) I mix disappear in barely mauve with disappear in the next shade up, which is called "light." The resulting colour is good for my abnormally pale skin.

I'm very pale, especially in winter and find Bareminerals in Fair brilliant, I don't look orange, just well, better! You can apply a really thin translucent layer without caking it on.

This is their site with a description and shade card:

    http://store.bareescentuals.com/bareMinerals%20SPF%2015%20Foundation/BE_SUB_FOUNDATION,MasterSPF15Found,default,cp.html

But I always buy mine via ebay as it's sooo much cheaper. I've used this seller and she's great:

Wow you must be pale! :D
I know how much of a pain it is to find a brand that caters for fair skin.
It drives me nuts when some brands lightest shade is crazy dark!

Sorry I am not sure of the name but Max Factor do a cream kind of foundation . It comes with a little sponge. It is only newly released.

I normally wear the palest foundation available and this is too pale with me. I think the colour is Ivory.

Update: The name of the foundation is Creamy Ivory 40 and its Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation

have really pale skin also. I like glow when pictures are taken of me because of the flash reflecting of my white skin, people say I'm like an a goth cause my hair is a really dark brown naturally as well! tongue.gif

What I wear is Bobbi Brown 00 Alabastar in the skin foundation range. It's paler then porceilan and matches your own skin colour perfectly if you have really white skin. It's about 30euros in BT.

If you have a terribly oily/flakey T-zone and really dry skin in the rest of is normal/dry on your face like mine then you would snatch this one up because it's really light and works with your skins different areas.

Also their concealer in porceilan is fab for covering up those spots or red areas us alabastar babes get!

Well thats how I feel about it anyway!
