    Hi RS

I have a good quality 7m HDMI cable running between an Infocus IN78 and a Sony BDP350. Tearing the sitting room apart now (don't ask) and I find that the cable is approx 2m short for the new layout! Don't really want to go buying an expensive 10m cable. Is there such a thing as a good quality HDMI coupler that I could use and put on another good quality 2m cable and not loose out on quality?

Will be in the market for a new 37-40" tv in the next couple of weeks.

Delighted with the Denon DM37DAB i got from you lately. A great unit.

    Thanks.

    RGMR2

Play have them for €6 but we would generally recommend that you don't join cables whenever possible as you may get handshaking issues - if you are pulling the room apart anyway could you not get a decent 10Mtr cable.

If you like I'll ask Ash in the Philips Shop to do you one SWV6435 10Mtr HDMI at less than 1/2 price at €32.99??

He has them ready to go in stock and they really are the higest quality PXT cables!

Was just about to create a thread for a 10mtr hdmi cable and saw this. Have the exact same problem. 7mtr cable just a bit too short to reach my amp in its new location. Can you put one of those cables on hold for me please.

John I have my tv and projector both set up to use hdmi but my onkyo only has 1 hdmi output. Is there some kind of switch box I can connect both the tv/projector into and then run a single hdmi from the switch box to the hdmi-out on the amp so I dont have to switch hdmi cables in and out of the amp when I want to switch between projector and tv?

    Guys
to be on the safe side I've reserved a PXT 10mtr HDMI cable for both RGMR2 and GStormcrow - both in my office just give your Boards name to one of my Colleagues - infact if you call in Sunday or Bank Holidday Monday just ask for Thomas (my deputy manager) and he'll look after you both.

    Have a good weekend.

    Hi RGMR2

Bit of a trip for you to collect it alright - you'd need to buy a TV to make it worth your while!!

I can certainly post it out to you if you'd like - just give me a bell on 01 474 0788
