Are these guys legit, they ignore my email order for a company stamp and just leave the phone on hold when I call, its actually quite funny how little they seem to care, I guess they are very busy...

    http://www.boltons.ie/

Can anyone recommend another company, there seem to be some cowboys out there that answer the phone like they just got out of bed and seem confused until the third time of asking that you are looking for a 'stamp' and not a 'stand'

Look at the absolute state of the website. How can anybody take them seriously ? Why are you surprised ? There not busy, there's nothing happening. Guaranteed.

well I got it sorted, they ignored the phone order, then ignored my email order, then got the order wrong and then finally told me its ready for collection today after 2 phonecalls.

Still they seem better than the other guys listed in the Golden Pages under the same category... at least they have a website, the other ones dont

:) That site reminded me of when I was a kid using Alta Vista as a search engine.

I don't like giving advice on the whole web site thing since I'm not an expert at it and it can make me appear arrogant since I haven't even launched my business yet but one thing I do know, 100% is that if you're going to launch a website, it's like everything else in life; if you're going to do it, then you do it right.

The way that website is at the moment, it would be better off not having a website - I'll never ever ever trust a company with a website that looks like it was designed by a transition year student who is learning how to pass the ECDL course and just started using frontpage a week ago - it looks that bad.

but what if they have a decent looking shop on the high street? Would that ease your fears a bit...?

Doubtful, I'd just assume something is going to go wrong

But it would really make me think what is going on behind the scenes ? Every company that takes itself seriously should have a website that looks professional and is easy to use and has great content related to their industry/niche/business.

That is of course if they want a website, some businesses don't and are happy with the way they are.

I agree with this. Called them at 10am one morning and had the seal ready at 11.30am. Hard to beat that!
