Does anyone have multiple accounts, say with PP, 365, Betfair etc.
If so, how many or which ones can you use in Ireland without a credit card? Got me debit card and looking at the free bets on offer...

I have lost count of the number of bookie/poker accounts I have.

At a guess I'd say its 5 bookies accounts, with 10 poker accounts. All from the same debit card.

Some places don't take debit cards, but I got around this by using moneybookers. I deposit here via the debit card and then from money bookers to the various sites. It's annoying to set up, but it makes it much easier.

Someone else yesterday (curious guy?) posted about not having a credit card. I'm in no way connected to this company but I use 3V vouchers from time to time. You just buy them at a newsagents like phone credit and it's effectively a disposable Visa card. It has a number, expiry date, and CVV number so you can use it for online transactions.

For me I've never wanted a credit card for the advantage of paying on credit, rather the advantage of shopping online. They're useful, www.3v.ie ;)

Those 3v cards have a heck of a mark up depending on how much your getting. 5 euro in 50 is a kick in the goolies. I stay away from them. I have read that they don't work for some "account services".

I guess I could use paypal? they're the same as moneybookers, right?

Another option is any online outlet with a high street shop will allow you to deposit cash over the counter into your online account.

Just say you won a few hundred on one of them, how would you go about withdrawing the money from it??

You cant use 3V vouchers for gambling. Its in their terms and conditions, something to do with you only have to be 16 to buy them.

I have an account with most online bookies. You can use laser with PP, ladbrokes, Boyles, Will Hill, Betfair and I'm sure more.

So you pay a fee for the 3V card, you pay a fee to paypal when/if you withdraw money and you still need a credit card to withdraw money from your paypal account.

    I've heard better ideas.

AIB and I leave it blank. Or I just enter the last 3 numbers on the back of the card. Can't remember but it shouldn't make a difference for a laser.

oh right I might drop the cash into the shop or might use the laser..
I dont like using the laser its fierce unsafe in my opinion you only need the number on the card no pin or nothing like...

Paddy Power is crazy with the lack of security on phone. I can just ring them up. Give them my username. Tell them to stick €20 on a Team X and take it off my Laser. They don't ask me to confirm any details and you just need the username. I know nobody can withdraw my money but there are plenty of people out there that'll stick a bet on using someones account for the craic.

The moneybookers option is about the best bet. Its a pain in the behind to set up but one you have it up and running its grand.
