I'm trying to book a holiday in AD in October - flights are really cheap with Etihad from London at the moment!

I was wondering can anyone give me tips as to which hotels might be good value?

Would it be better to get a package deal versus doing the booking myself?

Do I need a tourist visa?

Just looking for people's experiences :D Thanks

Honestly, its meant to be crap

Dubai is an hour away, head there! They dont actually fly to Dubai, you fly to AD, then get a bus, so same difference

My friends stayed a night in AD and said its a ghost town, with one shoppin centre!

AD is cool, i much prefer it to Dubai. Less of a building site. I went visiting friends also, and we just booked the Hilton (not sure which one, there are a couple in the city) but it was pretty reasonable, 70e for a room. that was 2 years ago though. Oceans nightclub is really cool, as is Zenith, but i'm sure you're mates will be taking you around to their places! have fun.
