Guys,

I have checked the Free software sticky for DVD Recovery software, but that ISO buster link says it's $29 to buy.

Any real free DVD Recovery software out there or will I have to fork out for some?

No. I need to try and recover files from a dvd that has developed some bad areas.

Is recuva able to scan a dvd
I just checked it appears to be able to work on dvd`s

Thanks Nick. Grabbed v1.7 as 1.8 link wasn't working. Will let you know how it goes when I get my computer back up and running.

I checked out the version Recuva that I have and it didn't allow DVD recovery, but may be a newer version would.
