    Hey,

This summer i'm helping out at Surf2Heal Kerry, which is a surf camp for kids with autism being held at banna Beach, trallee from the 10th to the 14th of August.

At the moment we're still fundraising and are trying to organise a table quiz.

I was just wondering if anyone hear has organised a table quiz before and if so do they have any tips for organising one.any and all help is appreciated!

    cheers

People really don't know all that much about tables and there really isn't all that much variety in the subject of tables so it would be a short quiz, I'd go with general knowledge.

Make sure you advertise it properly (not on boards ;)).. I assume you've got leaflets around the area - on community notice boards etc.?

Have you got decent prizes? Many local firms would normally be happy to donate something for a Charity function if you mention them - good publicity isn't it?

And not about the quiz, but is your charity registered? From experience, people are a lot more willing to give if they can see it's legitamate - again, more leaflets with information on the organisation, registered charity number.

Make sure that the questions are hard enough for it to be interesting yet not so hard that people tune out. I can send you on sample quizzes from ones I've done in the past.

"Guess the intro" and picture rounds tend to be fun also. I do a music round with a ~5 second intro from 7 songs, one from each decade since the 1950's -> 2000's

I can send these along later also.

EDIT : I have about 200-ish questions and most are of this type. (aimed at pub-quiz-goers so some may not be suitable depending on your target audience.

I think you mean 'largest' population? The answer being 'California'.

Tho coincidentally if you did ask "Which American state has the highest population" the answer would probably still be California.
