As far as I can gather England are favourites for 2015 and Japan for 2019. England in 2015 would be great, could finally go to a RWC.

That's what was recommended to the IRB and i can't see them changing...as much as Italy in 2015 would be good

there was due to be an announcement at 1430 but the "IRB are still indiscussions"

dont know if this indicates surprises or problems...wait and see

While England is handy, I think Italy should have got it instead.

You gotta love the way the Rugby League authorities just so happened to announce that they were going to host the 2013 RL World Cup in the UK. What a coincidence...

For the English and us to by extenstion the next decade will be great for seeing great world sporting events.

    The 2012 Olympics
    Rugby World Cup 2015
    Cricket World Cup
They are also favourites to land the 2018 FIFA WC

    Think I forgot one...:D

Aside from the feckin smugness, I really like England and the UK getting tournaments. It makes it easier for usIrish lads to get there !

That's handy, if I'm still living there by then hopefully I'll get to a good few games. Italy would have been bloody awesome though

Italy would have been better for the game but englands better for my pocket. Good to see its "England" and not "England/scotland/ireland/wales/france"

I have no complaints. Japan would be a great adventure if I have the funds

Will be great in 2015 alright but I'm going to start saving for 2019! Those crazy Japs latch onto ANYTHING big that enters their country so the atmposhere should be good.
