    Hey guys,

Ok so last week I finalised my application for JB and got all my documentation in etc...

This morning I got a white card form the SWO and the front of the card says my signing day is wednesdays between 9.30 and 12..fair enough.

The back of my card says my next two signing days are Aug 19th and Sept 16th...does that mean that I only have to go to the SWO on those two dates to sign on and not every other week like I thought it would be?

Secondly, the card says my first payment is in my local post office this Thursday 30th July but I have no idea how to get the cash. Do I just go in and give them my plastic social welfare card and then they hand me out cash..

Can someone please let me know because I dont want to hit the P.O on Thurs not having a clue how to get my cash and then being told there is none there?

    Thanks

Re: picking up your payment at the post office

You need to bring your social welfare card and a piece of photo id (passport, driver's license, gnib card: the latter only applies to immigrants)

    Re: signing on

This is usally every four weeks. It is at your social welfare office. Look for the long line up and get into it. You need your social welfare card. Bring a book or something to read...
