Check out the link http://www2.guinness.com/en-IE/Pages/250-index.aspx and click on "watch the add"
I thought it is very strange that at the end of this add they say "to a man called Arthur and a beer called Guinness"
Only thing is that Guinness is not a beer its a stout!
Please correct me if i am wrong but I would have thought that this is obvious and for such a large company with i'm sure a huge marketing team how did this fall through.

    Interesting observation.

I would say it is the American influence, referring to all alcoholic beverage served in a pint glass as a "beer".

    Bad form, imho.

Actually stout is a type of beer, is the same way that ales and lagers are types of beer, so technically the ad is correct.
