I was just wondering if you could help me answer some questions regarding grandfathering. I worked for an irish bank from July 2002 until May 2007. I was just wondering if I could put this on my cv and is this an accreditation I can use in future Job roles?.

    many thanks

You can of course state your experience on your c.v. but for grandfathering, and I am assuming here that you mean using your experience of working in a bank as a "credit" so to speak towards a relevant qualification, that would be up to the body awarding the qualification.

If the qualification is not new, and there are more traditional routes like study to go down to get it, then I would say from my experience that it is unlikely a grandfather provision will apply.
