I have been thinking of getting an allergy test done but don't know where to go.

Two places I am thinking of are advanced allergy testing in Dublin or the amber clinic in mullingar.

Any one here tried any of these or recommend somewhere else that may be better than the above two, this is all new territory to me so any help welcome.

    Thanks.

The only allergy testing that I am confident about is the Rast test done in some hospitals. Most of the ones in health food shops are silly, two shops side by side can produce a totally different list of allergies. And I won't even mention the ones that are supposed to detect allergies from your hair....

I went to a doctor in Merrion, he also works at the Galway Clinic http://www.joefitzgibbon.ie/

He specialises in allergies and food intolerances. I have a digestive disorder anyway but the exclusion diet I did with him showed me that white flour, milk, garlic, onions, spices, etc. make my condition worse. So I avoid these now. The exclusion diet is pretty extreme and I was very skinny by the end of it but I know what foods to avoid now and don't have agonising pain after going out for dinner :D
