I have been seeing a girl recently and we've been out on a couple of dates all to the cinema. I would like to take her out again hopefully this weekend but I dont want to take her to the cinema again. Wouldnt mind doing something different so that she doesnt get bored of me!! Any ideas for a good date?

Gig, comedy club, dinner, dancing, theatre, bowling, karaoke, ice skating, a nice walk, pub, clubbing... possibilites are endless really! Do you know what she likes, OP?

If you want to be really different bring her Roller Skating. There's a place on the Naas Road just beside the Luas stop at MacDonalds that does it on a Saturday night. Great craic and it gives you both a chance to get close. Plus it'll help with the nerves (if you're nervous of course).

I'd also recommend this place to any single lads too. I was there a few weeks back when it opened first and it was full of women.

Hire a tandem bike in the Phoenix Park? We're presuming you're in Dublin. Otherwise it would have to be her on the crossbar :-)

Yes I hear the roller skating is doing well and they may be opening up other venues.

Do you know if there is a website for the roller skating, or even there name?

I was wondering why I couldn't find a link. The actual address is on the Long Mile Road but it faces out onto the Naas Road.
    It's Spin Dance & Fitness
According to their website there's a session on Friday & Saturdays from 7.30pm-10.30pm.
The one I went to was 11.00pm-2.00am on a Saturday but it's not shown on their website

    Here's their website. http://www.spindanceandfitness.ie/rollerdisco.htm

And here's the Bebo page. http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=8851932364

They cancelled that 11pm session, which I think is a HUGE shame because the earlier session is packed with kids, which could be a big turn-off for us 'grown ups'. They say it wasn't busy enough, but to be honest they didn't give it much time and people are only starting to hear about the place, they don't do half enough advertising!

Plus it was too expensive. It was €20 each. €15 would've been more acceptable.

They should've given out discount vouchers to everybody that went to the first few nights, that way they would've ensured that people returned.
A "€5 off" would've been incentive enough imo. And if they'd have given out a few vouchers people could've brought some friends on their next visit.

Plus, they certainly needed to advertise more. I only knew it was on because my nephew goes to the kiddies one.
