So we should see what new competition lies in wait for Jericho and
    Big show.

And all the other stuff that went down at NOC.

Shaq is in the hiz-e tonight!

ZZtop were miming to do what they are known for doing which is playing guitars.
So going by that logic, shaq will be standing on a booster stool to make himself look tall.

    What?!

The BIGGEST MAIN EVENT IN RAW HISTORY?!:eek:
    ...again?

    But HOW will they Co-exist?!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,733 ✭✭✭✭Penn

Yeah, forget about such matches as Mankind V Rock for the WWF title, where WCW announced the results and effectively gave the power of the Monday Night Wars to the WWF. Clearly the biggest main event in Raw history is a match which involves Cody Rhodes and DiBiase jobbing to Cena and Trips while the WWE champion cowers and runs away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,380 ✭✭✭geeky

I reckon the bookers will start engineering some way to get a new tag team in the top spot. The only question is which one they'll use. They've diminished Rhodes and Dibiase so badly that they're hardly going to restore credibility to the titles. The big question is who they'll line up to make tag teams interesting again - the next few weeks provide a good opportunity for a major upset victory (Hart foundation?) against the none-too-stable champ team.

If they even try to run another Legacy-vs-HHH&Cena event, I think people are going to riot. Vince is surely smart enough to know that this stale feud that just won't go away is costing WWE ratings and PPV buys. Not that they'll do anything so crazy as putting the strap on Henry, but something has to happen FFS. They need new blood.

Speaking of which - they'll have to start doing something substantial with Swagger. Management have a major hard-on for the guy, and he's being booked strongly: I reckon they'll bump him up a notch from the US Title. As for Punk-Hardy, I reckon last night will be the end of it if they've any sense. The fans got a clear winner and a good match to decide the feud, so let these two top talents work with new people.

Bit of backstage gossip here - http://wrestlingtruth.com/news/vince-goes-mad-morasca-defends-victory-road-match-reid-flair-update/. Apparently Vince threw a fit at the tag match opener, so I think we'll see a change made at the top.

I hate how jeff had no response for jeff at all in the build up to the match.

It was just punk being a heel and jeff doing nothing.

Jeff should be fired on his non ability to hold a decent promo.

Hopefully DiBiase will leave legacy before Summerslam.Which leaves Orton v Whoever a clean finish for once. Hopefully Team Y2J V Legacy will happen again tonight.

    I really hope not.

Jericho has at least 2 wins over them, so i really hope they can move on to being just ortons goons or just disband already.

    Legacy gives me a headache.
'specially Rhodes with his abilty to keep his mouth open so dam much.
Oh and his ability to look neither intimidating nor worthy of his position.

Trevor murdoch had at least a scowl.

    Shaq Yippee!

WWE better do something worth while tonight, a show featuring the Brilliance of shaq deserves to come off well.

    Some questions:

Since its the night after a PPV who will return? HBK, Masters, Vince, Will it be batista again?

Will MarK Henry find a tag partner to take on Jericho and his new tag partner?

Will Kofi start a feud with Miz?

What will happen with the WWE title, will anyone care at this stage?

Hopefully there's a different main event from previous weeks.

I'm sick of Legacy vs Cena and Hunter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭Podge2k7

    Beat the clock challenge.

Whats the chance of Hunter and Cena getting the exact time and turning SS into another triple threat?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,972 ✭✭✭orestes

Shaq is looking like he is gonna do great tonight, good man with a mic already and playing to the crowd like a real pro

No need to shut up at all dude, the more the merrier on the thread (live show threads are one of my favourite parts of this forum and the more people involved the better imo) but tongue in cheek comments can come across the wrong way to some people and I have a job to do. Consider it forgotten about already :)

He's gotten over pretty well since he moved to Raw, and the main event scene needs some new blood. He's been doing pretty well in the ring recently too which is a nice surprise

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,181 ✭✭✭Iang87

ya i agree about the new blood big time. Maybe even an undertaker mind game storyline wouldn't go astray either. Cant see him being champ at any stage at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,206 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

Next match will be a cracker.

There seems to be a six diva tag every week.

Can the writers not come up with anything better.

Also 6.49, the time to beat.

you can tell he loves and respects the business, have always said shaq would make a great pro-wrestler when he retires, as big as guys like show and khali but with 10 times their athletism and so much charisma

He's not allowed, they made midget tossing illegal in the states a while ago (I'm completely serious, and I'm not making that up, they really did!)
