Are there age appropriate diets?

    I don't mean Cow & Gate. Neither do I mean dieting.
    I mean a nutritional program suited to the age you are: I'm a middle age male who can clearly see that I need to adjust my eating and drinking habits.

    Absolutely! Our requirements change dramatically over the course of our lifetimes and also our need to plan ahead and protect ourselves from disease changes and increases with age.
    This is an extremely complicated and lengthy topic to get into on a forum but I seriously reccomend that you go off and do some research for yourself.

    Yes, but it's not just about age, your health and activity all play a huge role.

    As a general rule, I'd say that the older and less active you are, the better your diet has to be. Teenagers can eat junk all day long, and if they are active, they'll thrive on it. If you are 50 and you pig out on fast food every day, you'll find Gillian McKeith on your doorstep one day. And that's the best option.....
