oats and honey--good for your tummy..

    so today i made a facial mask made of 2tbs of oats to one of honey. its really good for your face, but i ended up eating it. so do you think its good for you i mean it is porrige oats... what ar eyour thoughts?

    honey has most calories of all the sugars afaik so basically so if you use a lot of it, then no.

    Actually honey is sweeter than table sugar (sucrose) so you can use less of it to acheive the same sweetness, so less calories overall (not a lot less). Honey is about 80% sugar,

    I used to mix a little honey or maple syrup in a little milk, then slowly add more milk so you have sweetened flavoured milk, then add in raw porridge oats and eat like museli.
