recharged ipod touch and now wont work

    hi guys
    my touch died the other night so i put it on thecharger and when i went to power it up after i got the picture of the USB and itunes telling me to connect it to itunes? im presuming it has been wiped but how did this happen?
    ive tried doing a reset by holdin the power and sleep button but its the same everytime. havent connected to itunes yet as i use my work pc for it
    anyone have this problem before or know what i can do??

    It probably corrupted its firmware when the battery went flat. It shouldn't happen, but it might have been <doing something important> (technical term!) just as the power finally went.

    Should be fine after a restore on your work PC.

    i just connected it to my PC and its working fine again. didnt have to do anything with it like a restore or anything - just plugged it in and it turned straight back on...nothing missing
    very strange!

    Exact same thing happened to mine, but it was after I used a cheapo car charger. It came back to life after half an hour or so.
