N97, Xperia, or E71 for 3 Skype

So I used to have an e71 but it died on me (long story). Looking to buy a new phone and noticed 3's skype deals. Will skype on 3 work with these phones? Or do i have to install a specific skype application from 3 which they might not have for the n97 or Xperia? Has anybody tried it on any of these phones?

Im on O2, and have skype installed on my Xperia X1 and it works fine over wifi, I dont have a data add-on as im abroad at the moment, but I dont see why it wouldnt work over 3G.

skype on 3 with the n97 works fine for me.

got the app on the internet and it works fine for 3 ireland.
