Looking for a bike stand for my touring bike. Thinking of a twin legged one.

Are Pletscher the only twin available.
Any pro's or con's on double or single leg.
    Best place to get one?.
    Your views.
    Thanks

Halfords have an own brand twin leg stand. €22.99. Very reliable too if a little heavy.

Hebie also make several models of twin leg stand, like this one from SJS.

I have no experience with these stands but have ordered lots of stuff from SJS over the years and can vouch for their excellent customer service.

:o:o I don't have a touring bike, I'm actually a halfords employee (well for the next 2 weeks anyways, new job then).

I've fitted a few of them to bikes with kids seats on the back which are heavy enough and it seems solid. Thats just on a lyno floor though.:P

Thanks a lot. I'm just finished in college so after 8 years of repairing bikes part-time I'm throwing in the spanner so to speak. I'm beginning my career as a production engineer. Time to make some real cash.:p

I still have loads of mates with road bikes and i've my own too so i doubt my hands will be clean for too long. Try halfords for the stand anyways. Don't forget that axa customers get 15% discount so bring a policy with you
