    anyone use these?
a number of pros have told me they are the way forward and within 12 months will have wiped out callaway and TM amongst the mid-handicappers of Irl and the UK

i'm considering buying them but would like to hear from others (particularly those of ye who have managed to knock 10 shots + a round off ye're game with them)

'a number of pros' have said that? who exactly?

They are just another game improvement iron. Nothing new about their
weighting setup that I can see.

Got them a couple of months ago. Have knocked 13 shots off my handicap. Would recommend them.

A number of stockbrockers have told me to sell any stock in Callaway and TM - expected to be bust next year.

Also, R&A and USGA are investigating the Polarity and considering either banning it, or, making it compulsory for all golfers.

Apparently Bay Hill clubs are the way forward actually. There's a special 7iron in the set that goes exceptional distances and is really useful for playing off the tee on par 4's.

I just looked at them in a shop recently and am now playing off 6.

Stewart Cink saw a photo of them for the first time two weeks ago. Nicklaus has yet to state publicly if they are cast in Mount Doom by the Dark Lord.

Can people not cop the **** on and stop dragging every thread started by connoooooooooo into ridicule. If you don't like him, ignore him. He might just go away.

Calm down. We're having a laugh. After much experience it seems the best strategy.

And if you think the thread needs to be 'dragged into ridicule' you're having a laugh too.

a pro told me a few months ago that they'd be the rage this year
i cant help but think now that he was merely trying a flog a set to me

The lads in American golf Tallaght really recommend them and said there a good seller, I’m being genuine here.

It's the same with Wilson in Mahers golf in Cork. It could be that they are great clubs or it could be that there's a 200% markup on them. I'm not sure which.....

expensive there for everything in my opinion .....but back to the point....

...nicklaus polarity saved my life......... they're more than a club only for them I dont think it would be possible for any mere mortal to break 100

There ain't a set of irons that will knock 10 shots of your round - not unless you've been playing with hickory shafted blades.

If it were that easy then I'd be on the pro tour.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,335 ✭✭✭conno16

the golf pro guaranteed i'd knock 10 shots off my score within 4 weeks
and he said if a bought a particular putter i could subtract another 5 shots from my score card
