TG4 is showing it, whenever they start getting pictures. It's not started on Eurosport either.

    Did you check out Steephill.tv?

Can you edit the title and add in spoilers so we can discuss in this thread or would you prefer I started a new thread?

Yesterdays stage is on now, live in half an hour. Try the links on stage 18/19 if you're that desperate.

A breakaway is 8 minutes ahead of peleton/maillot jaune.

The interesting thing is the conditions at the summit of Ventoux. 110km/h winds.

To be honest I think people should sorta cop that this thread is for discussion of the stage, no other reason for it, no need for spoilers!

Contador looking human, for now anyways. Armstrong looks good.

Question on race radios: Do they have a talk-back function or is it all one way traffic from the DS???

    damp squip...

frank schlek armstrong contest never took off.
2 riders from saxo bank and 3 from astana worrying about the effect of their actions on their team mates gc meant no one had to balls to seek the glory of a stage victory on ventoux

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

It did look awfully like the only two with legs for the contest were andy and contatdor...and both were hamstrung trying to bring their team mates with them. I was surprised tbh at how weak kloden looked, from earlier in the week pacing armstrong up verbier to barely being able to hold on at the back.

Big effort from Wiggans who looked some wrecked at the finish, sort of feel sorry for frank just didn't have the legs on the day to pull it off.

Just watched the highlights on eurosport and the whole thing looked very tame. Felt sorry for tony martin missing out on the finish line. If a medal could be awarded for the most pain endured throughout a single stage i think he'd come first. On a positive note, the velogames team which i created then instantly forgot about until now has come first in the boards.ie mini-league. Go me :)
