    Sprinters would be a lot harder to deal with. My way would be to plan for the worst and see what happens.

    If I plan for fast feckers and get shufflers, then it gives me a tighter defence and offence as I would be prepared for having to react quicker and for build better strongholds..

    good idea...fail to prepare and u prepare to fail...altho if they wer sprinters we'd all be dead pretty damn quickly...we'd never out-run them!!

    Yeah the fact that they would not suffer from fatigue is a big problem, you could only hope that the one chasing you is badly decomposed, and as such may break apart whilst chasing you.

    Your biggest hope of surving an outbreak of sprinters would be down to your location. Those in a heavily populated area would be in major trouble as the Zs would spread too quickly and sheer weight of numbers would be enough for the Zs.

    In more rural areas you may have more time and less Zs to deal with at first, which may give you the precious hours or maybe even days to put your survival plans into effect.

    Sprinters can not exist. It just defies the laws of physics and biology. I've written out the reasons on me website I just haven't posted it yet.

    You don't believe in the degredation theory then? That as sprinters bodies break don't they become lurchers?

    I just find that hard to believe. Everything, even metal is damaged through use. Zombies can't repair so their constantly being worn down to the point their useless. The human is a complex organisation of living cells. Once that hierarchy breaks down they're not capable of the basics of animal ability's never mind things that are beyond the scope of living humans.

    Sprinters = me ****ed.

    I seriously doubt i'd survive Sprinters. Most of my survival plans revolve around the fact that Zombies will be the slow one's we've all come to know and love.

    Your probably underestimating yourself. Have you prepared for human radiers? We are going see some ugly human characteristics come Z day.

    Radiers can run, jump, use weapons and think. they in my opinion are the real threat, they can mingle amongst us and with no law or order, they will be extremely deadly. i would expect a huge amount of deaths by human on human conflict.

    well in the book i've written (in my head) zombies move fast as they turn and become infected and then move slow as they die.

    Yeah I would expect a huge amount of deliberate human on human killings if there were to be an outbreak.
