hello there, if someone can help me with a niggling injury i will be forever indebtted to them. i have been playing squash for years and also seeing various physios for years. everytime i get down to some very hard pre-squash season training i getting a niggling pain in my lower left back. at the same time i get a pain around my right knee/quad area and a numbness there too. both pains always co-incide with each other.
believe me, i have tried every stretch and strengthing exercise possible.
I play squash at a fairly high level and this injury really holds me back from pushing on.
core training helps but does not eliminate it.
    i am 32, 6'1" and 14.5 stone.
the knee/quad and back pain are getting worse in the last few years, hopefully i am not over the hill yet! i can train through the pain, but it sets my goals back a lot. i am told its not sciatic nerve pain because my pain is on the front quad/knee area and sciatic nerve pain runs down the back of the leg.
i have tried doctors, physios, chiropractors, acupuncture, orthotics etc etc. and nothing is a permenant fix.
    please help, thanks in advance..
