looking for advice for my cousin he has been married for 6 yrs and for the last year has suffered beatings and verbal abuse from his wife. they have a four yr old son. his wife has recently told him she is leaving and will have a flat to move to in 3-4 weeks and she wants the furniture. He is only giving what she paid for…

his wife has recently told him she is leaving and will have a flat to move to in 3-4 weeks and she wants the furniture. He is only giving what she paid for and in retalliation she has told him he will never see his son once she leaves.
Can anyone give any advice on what his best course of action is? He is very worried about the possibilty of never seeing his son again.

He should probably contact a Solicitor or his local Legal Advice Center.
