For Better Or Worse

I've had more than my fair share of nutjob wimmins in my life and to be honest i was quiet sick of it. For a while i found myself contemplating taking one of two options. One would be to just stay single forever and the other was to settle for less, meaning i would get back with my craziest of ex'es knowing she will love me unconditionally forever, thus meaning i won't be alone in 20 years time.

This was on my mind for ages and i eventually decided to pick option 2. I came real close to making that call on two occasions but lucky for me i met someone who is actually quiet normal(thank fcuk)

My question to you After Hours is what path would you take?

Would you decide enough was enough and stay single forever and die a lonley person watching re-runs of Fair City?

Or would you choose to get back with your crazy ex(most of us have one) because you know he/she will do anything for you and wind up with 27 kids and a husband/wife as mental as a bag of badgers?

Is turn gay and start ridin lads an option?

Is turn gay and start ridin lads an option?

Then eventually you'll just find yourself in the same position, needing to answer the same question, only this time you'll have a sore arsehole

    Not if he's a giver.

I wonder if quietly sore is quite sore though?

If I could only attract crazy girls, I'd eventually have to ask myself why?

Its all a but too clear cut...
Either you can get back with a crazy ex or stay single forever.
Funnily enongh I'm in a similar situation at the moment.
I'm choosing secret option 3 where I bide my time ands meet someone who i'm actually interested in. Although the ex may be crazy Its not fair to waste her time when really your only there for selfish reasons...

    Good call..go with that:)

Option 1 obviously. Otherwise you'll be in PI in a few years saying your wife that you don't love is divorcing you because you had an affair and now she won't let you see your kids.

Settling is never ever a good option. You have more respect for yourself if you don't settle.

Ye'd have to quantify what constitutes 'crazy'.....

I'd stay single forever. I've have spent enough time with crazy men to know i never want to do that again.

Definately. Sure she'll always stay with you regardless ! You could do dirt as many times as you want and she wouldn't care cause she'll always love you. And being the crazy ex I can't see myself being too smitten about here to give a sh!t ! Oh and sex on tap is always good too.

    So it's a win win ! :pac:

Nothing would ever make me go back to my ex.

So if I was ever faced with this choice, I would rather be alone and die only to be found half eaten by my crazy cats 3 weeks later.

    They're ex's for a reason.

Stay single. Quite frankly I can't think of a single reason of getting involved with a person except for riding purposes and having someone to pay half your mortgage.

Nah. Synper's shenanigans are cheeky and fun while Brendan Smith's shenanigans are cruel and tragic, which makes them not really shenanigans at all.

God it would have to be stay single.
You can do what ya want, when ya want with noone annoying you about it.
You only have yourself to look after and ya can be a free spirit, instead of being unhappy and stuck with someone who it didnt work out with the first time around.

    Evil shenanigans?

I would say the world is full of people who were terrified of being alone and chose the second option and lived less fufilling lives because of it.

I would choose the first option,it's not fair on either person to be in something just because it is convenient.

Rather stay single than be with someone just for the sake of being with someone.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 107 ✭✭anti chris-t

definately rather stay still rather than settle for someone. Imagine all the sacrafices that you have to make and making those for a woman you dont actually love is crazy talk.

Does everyone have crazy exes?
    I've been lucky so!
If the choice was mad ex or stay single, stay single is the smart thing to do!

I wouldn't say it's everyone. Probably mainly just the people who had girlfriends.

Added a little extra there for ya Pop's. I've had crazy ex-girlfriends but I've also seen friends deal with their crazy ex-boyfriends too and that's a whole other kettle of fish.

    Some lads are just mental.

depends on how big the ex's tits are.

my ex's were 34 e so i'd be giving it some thought.
